Hyundai Gen Couple most likely, if I was buying new at least. Lotus Elise might have been a contender if I could find one under $30k in immaculate condition.

TSX was a great car i wish i had kept my 05 i bought brand new. I had TL A Spec 18's, Tanabe springs, Comptech Icebox and rear sway, and some chassis bracing also. It was a really nice fun car i miss it sometimes honestly.

Nothing. I wouldve dropped forged rods and a gt30r in my jetta lol but it wouldn't have been nearly as fun.

Good to hear, I currently own a 2012 STi right now but got a chance to rip a brz in a mountain, damn even in stock form the car handles amazing and I have to say the traction control is amazing, especially when it's on the crappy stock tires lol. I can tell the tail is getting happy but it still held it
As you said, I don't think power is an issue, maybe it doesn't have that turbo spooling kick but it isn't all that slow. I had a rsx type-s and I am way happier with brz's torque
An fr-s would be my top choice if I do move back to North America

The traction control in this car is amazing, I agree. I have seen it kick in lots on my car even in very tame driving (and sometimes not so tame) and it makes the car straighten out and tames the beast nearly instantly. I have LOTS of people ask me about driving the BRZ in the winter. I just laugh and tell them it's no problem at all. Between winter tires and the traction control it is a great winter car as long as you don't drive like a complete idiot.

And agree with you on the handling too - this car is the best handling car I've owned by far (STis, WRXs, Audi S4s, etc...). Besides owning, I've driven lots of sports cars as well and I think the feel/handling of the FRS/BRZ is pretty awesome. On par with the best I've driven.

While cross shopping I was very tempted to get the other cars I mentioned in earlier post. But once I test drove the twins - I knew what I needed!

I never in my life considered getting a new car. If it weren't for the 86, I probably would never buy a new car. I would've just stuck to my sw20 if there was no 86. But if I really had to get something new, the sad honest truth, it would probably be the new 2014 mazda3.

When spy shots of the camo Nurburgring car was first revealed, I didn't like what I saw and looked at used 135i. Fortunately for me, for whatever reason they all had blood red interior and I just couldn't stand it.
