Bumper and fender damage - Hit and Run

Some douche decided to hit my SWP BRZ in a parking lot late at night and not leave a note.. Trying to get some CCTV footage from the nearest buildings, but not relying on it since we parked far away from buildings.. Parking lot is known for people to drift around when empty, but not when there's actually damn cars around!

Fender definitely needs to be replace, bumper looks salvageable but needs a paint job.

Anyone know what price I'm looking at?

Don't turn in a clam you will loose

Buy carbon fiber finders and reprint the bumper

800$ for the fender
400$ for front bumper
50$ for a new marker light

You don't want it on your car fax

I have it on my carfax and my car value is way less now

Where in Toronto did this happen? Some places in Toronto are pretty bad for this kind of things to happen.

The fender only costs 220 at the dealership. I bought one but returned it because I was able to fix my damaged fender. If your wanting to go carbon then do it now. The dealerships painter quoted me 500 to paint my fender. Again this is the dealerships painter so Im sure you could find a local paint shop to do it for much cheaper. I go my fender fixed and painted for 250.

Now is the time to get a body kid and get rid of that bumper! Also JDM Side Markers look wonderful on 86's and BRZ's of all colors, so you should get them. Only 100 bucks.

fender may cost around 900$ to get painted and installed thats i quote i got... i got my fender damaged too in a parkinglot =/ And yes dont claim insurance that.. cause i think your insurance rate will go up and you will also have record of damaged vehicle. Get the frs bumper ! Actually to think about it i could even sell you my fender piece i live in toronto too and we could meet up or something yo! THe only problem is the white paint im not sure if it's the same?? im swapping both my fenders out for something else... i mean my drivers side fender is completely fine just my passenger side is messed up..I also have marker light i can throw in if you want

I had almost identical damage to mine a few months ago. The fenders are SUPER cheap ($200), my front bumper was repairable, but I had some cracks on the headlight mounts so a new headlight was $800 and a new DRL was $140. The cost was in the paint. All in the repair cost $2200.

Unfortunately...they will have to blend because of the damage to the fender. This means they will be painting your door too.

Unfortunately for me...they didn't blend my hood. I suggest you just have them do that as well. Because they didn't blend the hood, in certain lights I can see a difference in shade between the fender and the hood on that one side. I'm used to plastic bumpers not matching perfectly, they really don't even from the factory, but seeing that fender/hood non-match has bugged me enough that now the shop is completely redoing the entire job. And I went to a reputable and highly rated shop. SWP is a bitch.

Thanks for the input! I'm picking up my fender for $120, got quoted 225 to paint the fender. I'm taking the risk and not blending it, but giving them the damaged fender to match it as close as possible.

Some of the headlight clips are broken, but can't justify spending 800 on a new one, the headlight itself isn't cracked. I'll post up posted after I'm done installing everything.

I'm ball parking at $350 repair! Crossing fingers..

Woah, ballsy. I thought about going that route but decided on a brand new car I couldn't justify the potential mismatch. I hope you have a really good paint shop. No idea how anyone could match SWP without some blend.
