Has anyone that owns this had a single exit track pipe also? Im curious about the difference
that someone that has run both had noticed.

just another piece of info for others who want to get this exhaust. as of now, i just had it installed and there is a significant amount of drone while accelerating, more so around 1500-2000 rpm and 2500 rpm. i would have to agree the exhaust note is awesome but right now the drone is rather loud. however, cruising at constant rpm highway speed there is no drone.

as others noted on this thread, the exhaust quiets down a bit as with the drone after several hundred miles. I will update later if I get the same.

Ya it eliminated the worst drone. Decelerating from 4000rpms was when It kicked in. Now there is a whisp of drone around 5000 but it's nothing close to the original muffler delete. I can't believe that no one mentions the drone in the muffler delete reviews. They just say it's loud
I agree with your comment of people not mentioning the drone it gives this car because it Significant. Thanks for sharing your solution for that unbearable drone. I couldn't stand it, my gf hated it and I was simply ready to put my stock back on and just buy tips lol .The drone at 2000 + and decelerating between 2k-3k was the problem, highway cruising was perfect. I found myself trying to avoid those rpms and stay on lowers gears instead, not very efficient. So I did the exact same thing and installed a resonator. Such an improvement! The deep tone is still there but it's more tamed. Step on it and its there, the difference is NO MORE DRONE. Don't get me wrong, I think the berk muff delete is a good product( great finish, nice welds, great tone, great price) just glad I found a solution to MY PROBLEM that's all..

I think a lot of people are confused with a muffler delete versus a full axleback exhaust. The muffler delete (single and dual) is there to "delete" the muffler in order to save weight and increase sound decibels for increased levels of driving sensation. We love the muffler delete and we're the ones who helped provide test feedback for Berk. A well-designed axleback exhaust will have some chambers or resonators to reduce the resonant frequencies like drone and improve quality of sound, both for the occupants and for your outside peers.

Currently, we're still in R&D phase with Berk's prototype axleback exhaust. We have gotten a ton of compliments and drooling from FRS/BRZ owners on the street and on the track. Thank you for being patient with us and Berk. We're doing our best to provide you a great axleback exhaust! As always, Berk's products are always dyno proven and track tested.

Yes! Rockin that plate frame and proud. Again not to demean berk and it's products..I admit my expectations was off but I'm still glad I bought it..just love the sound even more now. I guess waiting for the AB and purchasing would've been the ideal situation

Thanks again to dynosty for prompt service in regards to the products shipping to Canada

Yes, but it'll be ready when it's ready. If it ever makes it to production. We're still working with Berk on designs, and each prototype is being track tested before the next prototype is made, which is why the development is so slow compared to other companies.

Is this the system that maintains aerodynamics? I believe I remember you saying you had issues at the track with the original one. Without the factory muffler in place, there is a fairly large hole for air to get trapped in. It is a little overwhelming how many systems are out there, but I definitely am most concerned with one that is going to maintain the factory aerodynamics.

I'm very interested in the answer to the aero question as well.

While it's not going to be windtunnel tested, it is being calibrated by subjective feel on our car in high speed sweepers (90+ to REALLY make the difference noticeable).

We can subjectively feel how it affects rear aero by observing the change in balance at high speed; we already know how the OEM exhaust feels at speed.

Yes, that does mean I sometimes see oversteer at 100+ speeds...
