350z style "ram air duct"

Anyone try this yet, or even think of it? I'm pretty sure ima do it, of course requires drilling into the bumper but if you were to mount it on the flat face of the bumper it looks like it would force air strait into the box (after removing the snorkel of course. Thoughts?

It looks like they couldn't think of anything better, if it was my car I'd be pissed if they did that. I would rather put a NACA duct in the hood than cut a giant hole in the bumper.

Guess ill mess around with photoshop to see what it looks like, wouldn't be the same as that turbo app'd one since it'll be off centered and I couldn't stand something looking that bad

That's huge! I've got a carbon fiber one about half that size il be putting on mine offset to pretty much aim at my turbo inlet. Il throw some pics up when I finish the build
