Would love to hear some feedback on the engine mount and bushing set. I'm on the fence on them (bushing set) since I've heard nothing but good things, but also some people said they couldn't feel that much of a difference. I'm on a budget so down the road I'm pretty sure they're a sure buy. Just trying to figure out how to prioritize them.

also can you post pics of the wheels mounted?

thxs!

^^^ Will do.. don't know if I will notice any difference straight away since the car is still pretty new and the mounts/bushings are still pretty stiff from the factory. however, over time I am sure that the Cusco's will still be Stiff whereas the stockers will gain some slop.. Cusco's are made right.. and I don't question the Quality of their products.. I don't get to install all this til next weekend.. and at that point.. I will post pics of everything.. install and wheels and tires..

Bill,

How on God's green earth did you get your car to 2572 already? Guesstimate?

Just weighed mine & it's @ 2596 just before fuel light turns on & my wheels/tires are only 40.5 lbs/ea.

BTW--nice brakes!

2572 is with the brake calculation.. I knew before hand how much I was going to loose.. Brakes weigh 16.75lbs ea .. that caliper/rotor/pads/bracket and Hardware.. so add 33lbs to that total..thats what the scale said when I weighed it..

Damn, the stock rotor weighs more then that by itself.

I just can't spend that kind of money on brakes.

Yep.. Stock brakes are about 31lbs per corner.. After I found them.. I kept them a secret for a while however I did Turn Andrew on to them when I first found them.. He agreed that they were worth the money. Summit has them for about $950ish plus shipping.. so it was a deal.. ...Right now the car is about 90-95% prepped as per the rules.. Only thing I have left to do is Rear lower control arms. Rear Diff and seats.. thats it.. then it will be pretty much to legal limit of the rules.. that was the goal to begin with..

+1

Still expensive for brakes for an auto-x car, but are lighter and half the cost of the Essex kit. Pads are dirt cheap, too, if I remember right - cheaper than decent pads for the stock calipers.

Single kit.. Its actually for a WRX...(same thing) so the BRZ/FRS branding isn't there..for the markup.
