I signed up for an AutoX Class at Ft Devens on June 22. Should be real fun and am hoping to learn a lot from the instructors. I'm hoping to try out other events as they come up too.

. I don't have any track experience so this seemed like a good intro.Honestly... I am a bit scared to bring my car to a real track so I'm sticking with AutoX for now. What was that saying? If you won't push your car off a cliff, you shouldn't track your car.

The site is going through a redesign for 2013. For now, you can keep up with the club on facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/driftspot/
The events take place in Lot S3 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Here is a picture. The second marker is the lot we use. Last edited by davisk6; 03-08-2013 at 10:17 AM. |

At Drift Spot, our insurance requires that you have a valid driver's license. If you are under 18, you also need to have a parent or guardian attend and sign the minor's waiver before participating.

I know it's not HPDE, but is anyone planning to go to something like the BMW advanced driving skills school at NHMS?
http://www.boston-bmwcca.org/adss/Default.aspx Or if you've gone, any quick reviews? |

ADSS is a great school for anyone looking for vehicle dynamics training. Wet skid pad, understeer/oversteer, drifting, emergency lane changes, mini autocross, etc.
I taught at a few of these... Its required by many BMW Chapters for 1st time track driversbeforehand.. HTH, Steve |
