Hey, sorry to chime in a bit late here but just thought I could shed a little light on how much difference the Perrin 93 tune makes.
![]() I was fairly happy with it although like you, its just an in between tune until I order my supercharger

![]() ![]() It feels much faster, I am loving it right now. The torque dip is all but gone when I am actually driving. I want to give it some time before I really put my thoughts down because right now all I can think is "wheeeee!". The baseline run here is after a Perrin 93 tune and immediately after the Perrin catted & resonated header back was installed. |

Just updating,
After f1point4's success deleting the torque dip with the borla UEL header on Lola, I have one those on the way for Lazarus. I also picked up a catch can (yes you need one, I have seen it myself) and I want to get both installed this weekend. I really need to get some 9" wheels and tires, but the cost is difficult to justify when quality headers are so inexpensive. So that is still on the back burner for now. |

I love it as a daily, the dash computer reports the MPG is unchanged (26.9-27.0), but I haven't tested beyond that. For most info, yes it will be in the other thread.

Before the S/C I was usually within 26.8 to 27.2 MPG doing the mixed highway and city driving that is my commute. I usually got 32-36 on long distance highway drives of several hundred miles. IMO an average drop of 0.6 MPG is a really token sacrifice in return for the power that the Vortech supercharger provides. I will be on the road again next weekend so I'll try to remember to measure the highway MPG. |

And not to sound like a silly kid, but how much quicker is it off the line? I'd imagine noticeably so, but any numbers, speculative or concrete? (I know, I get it's a car for corners, but still curious!) |
