I think he meant to say Ferrari.

Edit: yeah that's what he meant from F&F.

Looks like a 4x4 but the elements of the Stratos are hard to miss. Unfortunately I think it suffers from the same thing most new car designs suffer from: large wheels, high belt lines, and squashed greenhouses. Obviously a concept, but the nose bothers me for some reason; I think its the lack of true headlights. IMO it just looks like a 4x4 Lamborghini. The Stratos had a wholly unique look to it that I see a small resemblance to, but none of that shear sexiness.

More thoughts: rear haunches look like cartoons.

I hope the people thanking a post where I complimented a post claiming to put down 170 lb-ft to the wheels on a stock car understand that I was being sarcastic as fuck...

I wish, I have enough $$$ to buy 4C, but $78k... yeah not happening

Really? I think, it follows classy Alfa Romeo style front... which I have no problem with.

oh this convertible thing is driving me crazy, with the misinformed people. It's like 2007 again where everyone was bashing on the net because no one believed Subaru had something that wasn't 4wd in development. Well guess what the BRZ exist! there's more stuff than we know, so much hate I don't get it.

My father in law is an accountant. He's semi retired, meaning he sold his client list to his partners and is now working for them as a consultant.

I don't know what he sold the list for, but best guess would be several million dollars with some of the things he's talked about.

His consultant contract states that he'll work 600 hours a year, anything over and he gets an additional bonus at $100 an hour. That's $16,000 a month if he works 40 hour weeks and he pays next to nothing in taxes because he's a small business owner.

The house my wife grew up in had seven bedrooms, five bathrooms, three kitchens, and a beautiful view of a lake through the picture windows in the middle floor living rooms. This was all set on a 7 acre lot 25 minutes from downtown.

So, why do people like accounting? Because money.

Definitely... I'm in this predicament where if.. I take this job as a Financial Associate I can become a Financial Consultant.

At that point... its big money from there but I wouldn't be enjoying what I'm doing. This was a job offer from a Doctor friend of mine who wanted to really help me out. Unfortunately, I want to help people with their medical needs. Even though the Financial Consultant position is essentially helping people control and payoff their debt--its not helping them in a way I want too. The starting pay would be roughly 6k-8k a month.

As for the tax part. Isn't he moved into a bigger tax bracket since he's making a lot more? Considering he does 40 hours a week after his 600 hours.

I remember watching something and someone stated... "When an accountant goes to work. He is never happy going." lol The title is nice and so is money but with all of these Financial Rules (GAAP and FASB) I'm not sure how can someone say they're really happy. Lol Unless you're the CEO or CFO I don't see a very happy person. Lol

Also.. Sales reps make bank... Totally off tangent but this is offtopic.

Your generic accountant doesn't make even close to what your father in law makes. The term accountant is used very loosely these days.

Like most jobs, you have really high paying ones and really low paying ones. Your standard accountant probably makes somewhere in the range of 30k-55k.

Are you sure? I was a sales rep for years, then again.. I was young and spent alot on my car, if I didn't I suppose I could say I make bank. Well it was enough to pay for a place to live, insurances, a car, but honestly sometimes it was terrible like you don't have money to eat, I guess it was what you are selling. I was selling electronics at a store so,

The sales rep at my bf's company and his uncle's company gets clients to buy.

He makes 6 figures + commission depending on the customer.

Last I was told... they make an average 250k on salary alone. :/ You have to be a great talker though. Lol
