Intake

Has anyone combined the Perrin Cold-Air intake with the Perrin Inlet tube yet? Was wanting some feedback on the combo and possibly to see some pics of the setup.

Yes, I have, and its really awesome. Sounds amazing, the power is there, and no issues whatsoever with bogging of any sort and my engine looks even cleaner.

I'll get you some pictures when I get home from work, but there are some other threads showing this setup in the Perrin CAI thread.

I appreciate it. This will most likely be my next mod...

I wish you guys could get me an Ultramarine blue color for my CAI and inlet. I love my black on black though like the bottom left picture. Still looks mean and I always get comments on the design.

Since you have a Firestorm, you could do the red CAI with the black inlet, but otherwise, most of the components in the engine are black as you can see. Red\Red is okay, but I think that combo looks good of Black inlet, red CAI with Firestorm.

I almost went with the blue inlet, but it's more of the subaru blue and not dark like Ultramarine.

I'm impatient to get one. But, its worth my wait. Was planning to do black inlet hose plus red intake to go with my Tanabe tower bar and my red Perrin Lightweight Pulley (soon to be installed tomorrow) in my Asphalt FR-S.
