Wow i did't know that the sound generator plug/delete could give such gains, jokes aside it's way to high.

That's very impressive, but that sounds like the mustang has a problem (or you're an awesome driver). My old EVO was doing ~340 on race gas on mustangdyne and only ran high 12's. Maybe I'm a shitty driver haha.

Very impressive! How many miles on the car? How did you break it in? What oil do you use?

The mustang dyno I was tuned on reads notoriously low. Plus, I am a decent driver if I say so myself. lol

About 10k miles now. It was broken in on factory Oil by an owner of a dealership. I use MoBil One Eco or Toyota factory oil.

4th gear pull (1.00:1)

5th gear is 1 to 1. I still don't get these numbers...

That's a very odd dyno. Not only does it look to be reading high as others pointed out (torque value of 170 lb-ft), but the torque curve drops off pretty quickly at the top end. You're making maximum hp at 6400 rpm, whereas most Twins seem to peak right around 7000 rpm.

Hence the reason why comparing dyno pulls is futile.. There are too many variables unaccounted for. The drag strip will tell a better story (even with the variables there too).

Yes, this will be more comparable. Who knows, you might have a freak of a car. It happens!

Tight manufacturing tolerances these days makes the "freak cars" occurrence of yore all but disappear. The dyno's of the world on the other hand are like a bag of bulk Legos.. All different. If we all dyno'd our cars on the same unit and the same day with environmental conditions that are consistent throughout the day, the numbers would hold FAR more weight with me. The drag strip holds more promise, but sadly is plagued by some of the same variables. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter. Dyno's and drag strips are good for tracking YOUR own progress. In other words, just enjoy your ride!
