It's usually expensive when the weather gets warmer. And even more expensive if there's an event or something going inside.

AC is always expensive on the weekend, its anywhere from $69 and up Mon-Thurs, but then it shoots up for the weekends.

Cool thanks for the input. Guess I'll have to suck it up on the cost if it's really like that everywhere. Just surprised me because I know I've stayed in some really nice places in Vegas for a lot less...

Borgata sounds appealing as Blackjack is just about the only casino game I bother with for any amount of time. Granted I could just stay somewhere nearby. I'll probably try to get more of a lay of the land tomorrow.

Tropicana is cool with us being there. Just waiting to hear if they can accommodate this many people wanting to do dinner! If not, we'll find something else to do!

Hotels just up the road in Pleasantville for around $90 a night (plus taxes) like 5-7 minutes away. I'd rather gamble my money away than pay $259 just to sleep.
