Correct. Clutches are rated based on their ability to handle torque loads, so the question remains on the table. I guess we still need dyno results...

When you do post dyno results, could you please use a big fat neon pink line? I like that. It helps me know it's a dyno plot.

Well, given the known rev range and the volumetric INefficiency above 6500RPM, you *COULD* say that he's suggesting clutches won't be necessary until the engine makes enough torque to produce 300whp within those given variables.
I believe clamping force decreases as RPMs climb. I'd go into the physics of it all, but it's Friday, and I'm on vacation starting at 3 pm, so my brain is shut off

I believe the disconnect is that it was suggested earlier on in this thread that this blower would produce "more torque than horsepower" by @Visconti (my apologies in advance if I am incorrect), hence the clutch question. I have the same question. And I suspect, based on 80 pages of agonizing thread, there is a great deal of interest in this kit by legitimate customers. Some more objective data, please.

I agree that clutches are rated in torque and it makes sense why but I imagine his response in whp was probably because a lot of people on here when they say what they are aiming to do with the car quote whp. They say I want 250 rwhp or 300 rwhp so he was probably just relating it on an approximate level in the same scale that most people think of for modding the car. Not saying it's entirely right but I don't think there was any deliberate misinformation or dodging of the question.

I'm not sure how this kit won't disappoint at this point. Too much needless hype, too little data. Like the opposite of a nameless thread.

I'm ok now with the wait, just spend my SC money on a Samsung 3D LED with an Amp and awsome surround sound system! Please do not post dyno for 2 more months, thanks
