Update:

A more polished Stage 2 by Drift Office was completed today. Made some minor changes here and there, and finished up the hardware of Stage 2.

Here is the dyno of the runs made today. It should be noted, this was run on straight from the pump Costco 92 octane (10% ethanol). We left the big wheels and tires on even though it probably costed us a few percentage points on power figures.

A short video of one of the runs today.

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u4pwCGinyww"]Stage 2 tuning on the AVO Turbo FR-S - YouTube[/ame]

The tune was totally clean, I'm happily surprised at how well it's running at 8psi. This was on stock injectors, stock fuel pump. What has been changed from Stage 1 is the addition of a 7psi wastegate actuator (with a boost controller), high flow front pipe, 2.5" cross-over pipe, 3bar map sensor. This is all flowing into a 2.5" AVO catback as well.

Here are some larger pics... For the sake of argument, I'm also posting those specific runs in STD Correction, since some have resorted to using that as a basis of comparison...

and again now in SAE , enlarged.

That way you can see it isn't that much of a difference, but enough to skew the numbers ever so slightly, possibly to sway an opinion one way or the other. Aside from the larger and heavier wheels that were on the car, I also noted based on the logs that the quality of gas wasn't as seemingly as good as we might have hoped but in anycase, this would be pretty representative of the 8 PSI requirement now set forth by the SC contenders...

And just for giggles, here's a dyno run from a DynaPack dyno (reads at the hubs) from a HKS SC Kit (Version 1 I'm told) @ 8 PSI as well... 230 WHP @ the hubs...

More to come, as always.

Cheers!

You can see from the HKS SC kit that even @ 8 PSI, the torque dip is still there, though it isn't as pronounced. Let's see what Innovate's design will put out. We're still waiting on that dyno sheet that was promised...

On the AVO 8 PSI tune, a minimum of 200#s TQ @ 3500 RPM to 7000 RPM!

Let's see which other kits can give you that sort of performance.

Cheers!

Jeez, that graph is smoother and has more space under the curve then my old 3.2l V6 dynos.

Are those numbers with the stock secondary cat still in place?

Can you overlay the stage two dyno over the stock baseline?
At what point is this turbo going to run out of steam?

I can do the overlays a bit later... As for the turbo running out of steam? You'll max out your stock injectors and clutch before that, and that's not Stage 2 anymore either.

Regards!

I wonder if a different intake would help with power and also turbo spool sound?
