Cool but its going to be June 2012 before its released. I guess that is late spring...My bad...

Hats off to this dealer for the no-bulls*it approach.

Sounds like a legit dealership to me! It's refreshing to hear of places being up front with customers and not feeding them BS in order to just get a deposit out of them. Back before the GT-R came out there were dealerships taking $5k deposits on the car a year out even before it had been shown at TMS with no clue on delivery dates.

Hey now, not all dealers are bad.

I just got a sales job at a Scion dealership, and that's half the reason I'm here. I want to be knowledgable about everything Toyota/Scion has to offer, this car specifically, because I plan on getting the first one in the Southeast region, well, I hope anyways. lol

I got the job because, I'm 22, drive a nice tC, and love the brand. They hired me to educate the other sales people on Scion, to help promote it, and cut most, if not all the bullshit out selling these cars.

Believe me, if I don't know the answer to a customers question, I'll find them an answer, and I won't lie about it - that's probably another reason I got hired.

So that's why I love this forum so much, and I'm so glad it's here. Because I don't want to be 'that guy'.

Good luck for your new job Count! I've never met a salesman on forums and I never undestood why, I know it takes some time but in the end it pays off both knowledge and sales.

Because car salespeople are not necessarily car people. Oddly.

That's not so strange, even where I work there are people that don't care at all for cars and it's just a job.
