I used to live in Columbus. If you drive up through Schulenburg then take 90 from Schulenburg to Weimar (through town) Hop on I-10 in Weimar to Columbus Just outside of columbus take exit onto FM949 all the way to Bellville. The run between Columbus and Bellville is pretty fun.

Also the run from Columbus to Brenham is fun as well. Beware though its full of bikers, and cyclist on the weekends.

No problem there are some good stopping places for photography on the way (fields full of bluebonnets etc.) Also some nice mom and pop restaurants to grub at.

I actually have a video of this exact road. Took the scenic route back from conroe to SA, and thought it was a very nice road. I'll try to upload it today.

Do you guys know of anything closer to Victoria? Maybe some of the local farm to market roads?

Well, now I know who bought the black one...LOL. Nice to see another FR-S in Victoria. I have an Ultramarine with gunmetal rims, if you've seen it around. As far as curvy roads, I haven't found any close. Everything is flat & straight...About the best i've found is the Upper Mission Valley road to Cuero. At least it's got a little elevation change. Been trying to get up to the Hill Country and run the "Twisted Sisters", but haven't found the time.

Zooki did I see you cruising on the loop today? What all have you done to your fr-s besides wheels? I just got new wheels and tires put on today.

Lowered it on Eibach Pro springs, Nameless axle back mufflers, AFE drop in airfilter, Beat-Sonic backup camera, added a subwoofer, changed the trannie & rear end fluid out, put in a Perrin shifter bushing, added a Fumoto engine oil drain valve, and in the process of adding foglights.

Nice. My next upgrade is gonna be gc street coilovers, then a full perrin exhaust. Haven't chosen which header to get.

I think I'm going to leave the motor alone, this is my DD. I may get some Koni struts later. I've got an old Mustang if I want to go fast...although if the Nameless header puts out like they claim I may have to bite the bullet and get the rest of the Nameless exhaust...

I highly recommend the perrin cold air intake and silicone inlet tube. It really brings out some power and it sounds really aggressive when you step on it. I also have the unichip and it seems to give the car a nice extra kick as well.

Oh, I'll pass on any of these intakes that are out. I have yet to see a 3rd party dyno test that shows any gains that aren't within a statistical margin of error. Like I said, I've got my old Mustang to go fast in, i just need to get it back together...

I've found that Nursery Rd is quite a blast to drive. Has some real nice curves and straights as well. Definitely gotta watch for hogs though.
