Been getting little things so far, just when I have spare cash laying around. I hope within a month or two at the most to make a big purchase for the car. Still undecided on what it will be but I have a few options in mind.

Tinted the car today. 35% on the front doors and 5% everywhere else.

Sorry for the low quality of the pics but we've been having gloomy weather here lately and it's always late when I get home so there's never much light.

Lesson of the day..............don't listen to the guy at autozone and read information for yourself.

I had planned on redding my tail lights tonight and I asked the guy behind the counter which paint I needed to tint my tail lights red. I even showed him pictures of what I was wanting to do. He gave me indoor / outdoor plastic paint and I was concerned so I asked him, "Are you positive this is what I need?", and he said yes. Sure enough I now have tail lights that are painted red instead of tinted red.

Live and learn. Good thing I bought a bottle of mineral spirits to clean them before hand. It took the paint right off. Tomorrow is a new day. Hopefully I'll have them done then.

Second attempt - Still drying but much better. After they dry I'll wet sand them a bit and then clear them.

Rebadged my key as well. I didn't buy the JDM cover. I just ordered a backing from Toyota. It's $2.98 from http://www.toyotapartsoverstock.com/...erm=8975133070

I spy a Cressida x73... Very nice cars! Love the beams swap!

It seems to be just a shade lighter than the top part of the cover but no one would ever notice if you didn't say anything. So if you want to match perfectly $19.00 for the JDM cover isn't exactly a bank breaker but if you want to go even cheaper and aren't excessively anal about things (not saying that's a bad thing at all) then for $3.00 you can rebadge your key to Toyota as well.

Trying a different option than the norm for my front brakes. It's a Brembo 4 piston caliper like others have done but not from an STI. I'll post more info when I find out if it's going to be a viable option.

Got a call from my parts guy telling me my rotors are in. I had to wait a couple of weeks so I wouldn't be charged shipping and he could get them in on his bulk order for the store. I'll be picking them up tomorrow and then this weekend hopefully start working on the front brake setup.

On a separate note.........UPS man brought me my springs today!!

Couldn't wait until this weekend. So I installed the springs and took some measurements for the brakes. Looks like the calipers I was looking at aren't going to work. But at least my car is lowered. Makes me realize how bad I need wheels.

Well to make a long story short I messed up my AC condenser and had to order a new one. Dealer list price is like $415 plus tax. I ordered mine from www.onlinetoyotaparts.com for $283.78. Shipping was $34.05 bringing the total to $317.83. It only took 6 days to get here from start to finish and they provided a tracking number. I would highly recommend anyone needing to buy OEM parts to use them.
