Was dead set on Whiteout buy my only option was to spend an extra 2k getting it towed from Socal. My second choice was Raven but he came back with a Firestorm with nice options. I was very iffy on red but after seeing it in person and driving it around for awhile I love it and I feel like I'm in a mini ferrari lol I settled but I have no regrets. Yes white would've been great but not for an extra 2228 dollars. (2000 to tow and the 228 markup from the factory.)

Love my Ultramarine and don't regret it one bit - looks fantastic, doesn't show dirt as quickly as white or raven, though I find myself washing it once a week since we've been getting rained on everyday >_<

@ Zgrinch - what is paint correcting?

I think black is sexy. I got blue specifically because I didn't want any of the other colors. Good thing my dealer had 2 at the time of purchase.

Whiteout is a great color. I had the same color on my 07 STI. For me it was between whiteout and raven. I decided with raven because black cars are so sexy. It sucks to keep them clean, but I enjoy washing my car. Gives me something to do. lol

I think virtually ALL cars look sharpest in black from a visual perspective. Wife and I both have black cars.

However, black does have it's tradeoffs. If it really bugs you get Opticoat and learn to do the waterless detail between washes. It will still gt dirty, but you might be less paranoid about fine scratches.

Personally, I can't be bothered with a $300 coating. The car will eventually get dinged anyway and the finish should last quite a while without another protectant on top.
