Where I live there are more cars than parking , so when you find one you HAVE to take it asap, if by any chance you have to reverse, you need to be movement free to look everywhere for cars, people, animals and whatever you can hit! ![]() situation 2: gratitude. you driving home an hot chick that you succeeded in pleasing, so she decides to please you back with a very risky and dangerous sexual maneuver, (do not try this at home!) and the chime really ruins the mood ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() otherwise I always use the seatbelt, really! this was how to do it in my toyota... no idea if it could work on these car
1 Open the driver's side door. Standing outside the car, reach in and turn the ignition switch to the "On" position. (Do not start the car and do not lean on the driver's seat.) 2 Press the "Odo/Trip" button on the dashboard until the odometer display reads "Odo." 3 Turn the ignition switch off, then turn it back to the "On" position. Within six seconds, press the "Odo/Trip" button again and hold it down for at least 10 seconds. 4 Continue to depress the "Odo/Trip" button. At the same time, fasten the driver's side seat belt and check the odometer display: It should now read "B-On." 5 Release the "Odo/Trip" button and press it again. The display should now read "B-Off." 6 Turn the ignition switch off. Unbuckle the driver's side seat belt. Sit in the driver's seat. Turn the ignition switch on again as you depress the brake pedal. If all steps have been followed correctly, the seat belt alert system should be disabled and no seat belt alarms should sound. |

Its an electrical capacitance based sensor so the phones set it off because of the transmit/receive function but bags don't. In theory if you threw 200lbs of plastic on the seat it wouldn't chime at you but you're phone could cause it to think someone is there.

so.. if i sit there, it will detect my *so famous personal sensor that transmit/receive function* and not my wheight to force me to buckle up? or I need to have a cellphone in my pocket so the car knows that someone is sitting there and needs to buckle up because airbag is on? I don't have the manual here, but my last car was saying when it's more than 25lbs, it activate the airbag... |

Its very easy to do, you just have to go to a menu that gives the the features that are customizable. I dont see why they wouldn't do that for you but you do have to ask.

I'd like to confirm that putting 2 5liter boxes of wine on the passenger seat coming back from the store will set off the alarm.
