You're probably right, but we'll look anyway!

With our harness bar installed in the highest position, our 245 Hankook RS3's slide under the bar with about 4-5 inches to spare. The other two fit in the cargo area without issue if the spare tire is removed. Also, there's still a substantial amount of space on either side, and on top of the tires for other gear. Don't forget the passenger seat, the floor behind the front seats, etc. In summary, you shouldn't have any trouble hauling everything you need to the track or autoX with our harness bar installed. FYI...you'd probably be able to get down to the lowest, or second to lowest setting on the bar before you ran into any interference issues.
MSTiFK8R, you owe me a beer.:happy0180:

Jeff, I own you even more anyways for your Endurance brakes kit , just notify me when you're in Russia and I'll get you through this ) Being skeptical on if you could fit a set of 4 tyres in with your harness bar I was thinking if that's possible to fit ALL 4 in the backseat together It turned out you CAN NOT now, due to the new height limitations putting 2 tyres in the trunk is a wise choice though, I always put 2+2 when I need extra set - it's easier than folding all 4 in the saloon. BTW - I put EIGHT 245's PLUS a FILLSIZE spare inside BRZ and driven for quite a while in the city and didnt have major visibility issues (total 4+8+1 = 13 wheels rolling ) believe it or not ) |

Nice bar.
So the bar has nut plates welded on the inside and is bolted to the aluminum plates? Sorry for asking if this has been already. SCCA legal? |
