with so many people talking about tires, wheel width, stretch, etc...

i was wondering, does staggering your TIRES and not the WHEELS serve any pros or cons?

for example, what if you ran 225/40/18 or 235/40/18 in the front and 245/40/18 or 255/40/18 in the rear? basically squared wheel width with staggered tire width.

mmm the weight probably minimal effect, increased contact patch in the rear vs the front may just change up grip dynamics, Possibly more likely to under steer because of greater grip in rear so you would push it further and further trying to break the rear end only to end up having the front end slide?
maybe?

Staggered tires on square rims = fail IMO. Why bother?

LOLZ. Its prolly an indication of my own personality traits that I prefer a square tyre set up on square rims rather than any failing of performance or that of the owners who choose to go that way. I just struggle with the pros over a square set up which makes rotation and re-supply so much easier.

No intention to offend anyone or their friends.

255/35/18 rota torques 18x9.5+35

As the title states i'm running 255/35/18 rota torques with an offset of +35 currently on 255/35/18 Federal tires. Just installed new tires last week and before I did so i was running 225/40/18 but i got tired of the stretch and i'm planning on going with either with the innovate or vortech supercharger so i need more tire which is why I now choose to run the 255/35/18. I'm also lowered on megan street series coilovers and currently have no rubbing issues after adjusting the back to have about an inch of wheel gap and the front has no wheel gap with camber.

Here's a few photos if theres some interest I can get some better ones in some better light.
Sorry for the large pics I will resize them shortly.
