It looks like most air boxes are giving up to 10 HP which is ridiculousness really. Looks like adding the TRD exhaust and headers as well will yield around a 20-30 HP gain for about $2500.

Im waiting for this TRD Air Box.
My short list will also include a master cylinder and a strut tower brace!
Mudflaps, Fog-lamps and break caliper covers.

Hmmmm. I didn't even notice the first time. It looks like it eliminates the sound generator?

I am more interested in what kind of performance we should expect from this, rather than the looks. Yes, the straight pipe would be quite good but still...Anyway I would couple this with a modified/larger behind bumper pipe to get more air. I dont see any point in putting this in if the pipe that sucks the air behind the bumper still looks like a small anorexic trumpet!

Well, yeah...if you put it this way! Nevertheless, it will make the brakes look really small. I would rather spend some dough on upgrading it ...even getting a second hand set off a STi would still be better.

I'm going to see how it fades on Winton with me thrashing it like an ape before I worry about upgrading brakes. Already reducing the weight at the corner, though.

With paint!

not like this though:

Jokes aside, there are two ways to do it: with the calipers on the car or off the car. If you choose to do it with them on the car please mask the areas around it. like so:

Chick does not need to be masked/covered
