Yikes. Like that blue on the new Stingray, BTW. Assuming driver is physically okay, although agreed he/she may be looking for a new job.

Fortunately, it was a pre-production model out for testing. It likely would have been destroyed after it served its purpose anyway.

Out of curiosity, what do you guys think of the new 'Vette? I was skeptical at first, but the more I see it the more I like it. I will wait until I see it in person to decide if it is truly worthy bearing the Stingray name.

I like the front but both the vette and viper looks more like a ferrari. I'm still debating if I like the back. The tail lights is whats throwing me off.

Saw it in person up in Detroit - car is great looking, til you get to the rear end. Then it gets way too busy.... Additional pics to show what I mean (Towards the middle of the album):

Agreed. It does look great, even if it looks a bit Ferrari/Viper-ish up front, but that back end... It just doesn't really seem to fit on a Corvette.

Like I said, until the car is seen in person, it is hard to determine if is is appealing or not. From what I've seen, it looks best in black since all the vents and such are black on any body color. This certainly detracts from the 'busy-ness' of certain portions of the car.

As for the Viper and Vette looking like a Ferrari: both cars definitely have a more exotic aesthetic than previous models. However, I think both stayed true to their roots and still fully represent true American sports cars.

The only thing that really bothers me is the shape of the vents below the taillights. A drastic change to the Vette's rear end was inevitable, and in my opinion, they could have done a much worse job.

Dude... that's a Vette you're talking about . I hope you were trollin'

But anyway, this is a travesty =/. I hope the driver is okay; knowing that this was a pre-pred and it would have been destroyed anyway brings me some comfort.

Exactly, the vette is one of the worst designed cars since the corvair. The driver prolly tried to take a 45mph corner at 20mph and lost total control. Dont get me started on its cheap half assed interior that has no place on a 90k$ car.
