Pretty much any quartz will kick the ass of even the best mechanical (so far the Grand Seiko High Beat automatic seems to be the most accurate mechanical that's not a special one-off). For the best accuracy, you can get the quartz that radio-synch with atomic clocks. There are several G-Shock models that do this.
I heard if you're lucky a mechanical watch might only be 15 seconds off after a few months or something, they tick at different speeds in different orientations so if you figure out that it's consistently gaining or losing time or something you can look up a review of that watch and when you go to sleep put it on the table in the position that will help get the error back?

I'm thinking of getting this one.

Casio Men's GW9200-1 G-Shock Riseman Alti-Therm Solar Atomic Watch: Watches: Amazon.com

Also, when you say it syncs with an atomic clock, don't you mean it syncs with an "atomic radio"? An actual device that syncs with a real atomic clock is actually rare from what I've read. Atomic syncing seems to be more of a marketing term than anything.
I've been learning about mechanicals more than electronics. From my understanding an atomic-sync watch like that Casio get a radio signal from some official government atomic clock facility and adjusts the time from it, since even quartz will be off so many seconds per month (rather than per day like a mechanical).

Those G-Shocks seem to have a really good reputation.

15 seconds over a week is really good performance, I think. (highest quality Swiss is +6/-4 sec per day, iirc, Grand Seiko High Beat is +5/-3) Over a month 15 seconds is quartz quality.

Maybe you know the answer to this. What causes a watch to become out of sync? I can understand mechanical since there are moving parts. What about electronic watches?

The man stumbled around the car park for a few minutes, with the officer quietly observing.

After what seemed an eternity and trying his keys on five vehicles, the man managed to find his car which he fell into. He sat there for a few minutes as a number of other patrons left the bar and drove off. Finally he started the car, switched the wipers on and off (it was a fine dry night) flicked the indicators on, then off, tooted the horn and then switched on the lights. He moved the vehicle forward a few inches, reversed a little and then remained stationery for a few more minutes as some more vehicles left.

At last he pulled out of the car park and started to drive slowly down the road. The police officer, having patiently waited all this time, now started up the patrol car, put on the flashing lights, promptly pulled the man over and carried out a breathalyser test. To his amazement, the breathalyser indicated no evidence of the man having consumed alcohol at all!

Dumbfounded, the officer said "I'll have to ask you to accompany me to the police station. This breathalyser equipment must be broken."

"I doubt it", said the man, "tonight I'm the designated decoy."
Hehe. If you tried that IRL they would probably go crazy and bodyslam you to the ground.

Also. Almost got T-boned but some fucker that ran a red trying to make a left.

I felt like my car flashed through my eyes and I'd need another car. :<

Then as I continued driving to School I thought... what if... my settlement gave me 18k or something equivalent to the value of my car?

should I get an MR2 spyder and do an engine overhaul and if I did where would I get it done.... lol

And it was suppose to be... (because some)* not but. :P Typing error woop.

I'll struggle with the cost of gas in Cali right now. (Almost $5 for premium 91 and getting close to 4.50 per gal for 87).

That and insurance cost.

I also would if I didn't have to worry what was going to happen when I can't work for 2 years for an accelerated Med specialty program.
