Dealers with a good service dept?

I've had an FJ Cruiser since 08 so going to Toyota dealerships for warranty stuff is nothing new. Haven't been too happy with my local dealer (Cerritos). Can any of you guys recommend a good, honest service dept in the Long Beach area?

Yeah. I went there way too many times because of issues with my FJ. They never fixed anything and just kept treating me like I just brought up issues I pulled out of my ass. Because what i really want is to waste my time at the dealer, right? Not to mention they ruined the paint on my Black Special Edition TRD wheels which are nearly impossible to replace unless you destroy them. Toyota keeps those on a short leash. They got someone to "fix" where they messed up the finish but it's never been the same. Anywho, I'd prefer going somewhere else.

South Bay Toyota
18416 S Western Ave Gardena, CA 90248
(310) 323-7800

I took my car there for the 7500 maintenance. My service advisory Dwayne Morris was very professional. He knew about the recall before I could mention it. The service tech guys even took the time to attach the ghetto magnets I had on the old oil filter.

I was kinda sketchy to take my car in after the ordeal I had with Power Toyota in Cerritos. Long story short they didn't change my oil filter and racked up about 4 miles.

I recently went to Longo and left pretty salty.

I'm going to give South Bay a try for the recall. I used to take my truck here for service but that was about 10 years ago. It was always good back then so I hope they are still good.

If you do I recommend that you ask for no car wash after your service unless you like your paint to be marred. and if you have aftermarket lugs i suggest you dont let them rotate your wheels. I have extened lug nets and they cross-threaded not one, not two, but three lugs nuts after my last "complimentary" service.
If you still decide to go there, request Meng T. work your car, he'll take good car of you...
edit - the one time I dont ask for Meng, i get my bolts cross-threaded
