I would suggest it's not on the ship as yet, and if that's the case they can't provide the name. Once it is loaded then they can although it MUST be close!! Try TMCA again 1800-252-097 say, Friday and give them your batch number [password] and see what happens

That's what I call an excellent Dealer/Sales Consultant - NOT!!

Man, I hope my car is on a ship. It's estimated delivery is the 14th March. If it isn't, I doubt it will get here by that date, assuming that the sea journey/customs all takes about 6 weeks .

The tracker did update to tell me it was 'in transit' on the 12th Feb... I was hoping it was around a week behind as people were saying.

If your tracking says 'estimated delivery 14 March' and the box on the right side has moved to 'In transit to Australia' it's on it's way!!

Hi there, hope u still remember me in another forum. Well, i called tmca as well but they can't tell the ship name but i know the ship arrived last sunday (from kline website) n my tracker says in storage yard for transport on monday. However my dealer has not called me yet n did return my call too! Consider it should be ready by next week, i just chill out at the moment

Anyway i believe urs in on ur way n ur tracker should update sometime next week. Else just give ur dealer a call because it seems like they know more than ur tracker.

Do you know which port it's likely to arrive at? Most ports have a shipping movements website, if you can find that you can trawl through and see if you can find your ship. That's how I found mine!

Once you find the website, start Googling the ships due around the time you might expect it. Once you have a name you have a start point to find it!

Good luck!

GT or GTS?? I notice there is an additonal badge on the rear 'GT' with something after that, not on ours here! Think of the extra weight!

Mate, so glad your wait is over!! Well done and congratulations!!

'Sirius Leader' due into Port of Brisbane 6.00am this morning, can't see it listed but I'd say it's here, only 24 hours or less from Townsville to here!

Thank YOU for all the support you've given everyone. You are the type of person that makes this forum almost as fun as driving our cars! :happy0180:

I am SO SO happy! Took it for a drive over the Rimutaka hills last night (think very very windy...) was awesome apart from all the bugs I collected on the way home. And as for the extra logo bit on the back:

Thanks Sacs, appreciate your comments, but at the same time there have been so many great people here over the past eight months that have kept me sane aand now seem to be 'unseen' close friends!!

I will continue to come here, see if I can assist anyone and also try and source cars if they are having problems - it seems things here have eased just a little, one Dealer I spoke to gets 5 this month and my Dealer will have delivered 3 - still many on the big wait though!

Enjoy the ride! I'm NOT going out in the rain for a cruise and if it rains all weekend it can stay in the garage and get the polish I promised it! Just a 'spray on - wipe off' wax that's always worked well for me since I bought my Celica ZR back in 1994!! Meguiar's of course!!

I went and looked thru an NZ Dealer and that's how they badge the GTS in NZ - also some awesome pics of the TRD version of the GT & GTS. They call the GT simply an '86' and the GTS a 'GT86'

Washed mine today and cleaned the tar off from the wet roads last Saturday, little kerosene and then some polish did the trick!
