Yes, clutch slip around 3.5k-4k. I only did one attempt so I'm sure I can perfect the technique. I just don't like abusing my drivetrain and don't care to prove that much. I think you could rev a little more if you're going with a slip technique. It seems like that would be the best for our cars.

why cant you label things as offroad use only like every other manufacturer out there so we have access to it. i plan to keep a cat on the car but it wont be in the header thus i will toss codes.
all my previous vehicles have had a tune that turned off the error codes.
Just get a little extension pipe? Look up anti foulers...

Hey hope someone can help me. In the installation guide theres no word of the power switch that came with it. Does that go in the 6pin connector? Also theres a seperate connetion besides the 24pin one (I assume its for the mapping?) Does that go in the 6 pin too? If someone can take a picture of their connected unichip installed where the pins are I'd be very grateful

Edit. Figured it out. But how do you set the map to 0/1?

EDIT 2: lol figured it out.. its not an on off switch its a map 0/1 switch

Car is working fine but I got a cel. Any ideas on what can be causing it? Should I just reset the battery? I Originally tried to turn on the car before attaching the 0 1 switch and it didn't turn over. Maybe that caused it?

So I reset the battery and the CEL went away. Everything feels alright now but just double checking all the Unichip needs is to plug in the 3 plugs to the MAF, throttle body and the one behind the intake manifold (grounding beneath the bolt as well), plug into the unichip (24pin) with the dieletric paste, and plug in the 0/1 switch into the other two pin connector right? There's no connection to the ECU itself or the battery correct?

The car itself feels more or less the same to me so just wondering if I did something incorrect. Is the difference subtle? The way everyone spoke of a retune leads me to believe it is night and day. It's raining pretty hard where I am though so haven't had the chance to play with it hard.

I might be in the same boat as you; what did you feel before and after you tightened your intake if you can recall? My quick test drive after I installed it felt about the same as before I had the unichip installed. Was it a significant change after you tightened everything? I haven't had a chance to do a real test drive yet and only stayed in low rpms since it's raining, is the car supposed feel different in the low range?

Do you have a OBDII scanner/reader to get the code? I got one because the coupler on my intake wasn't fully on (oops). Also check all the connections. As far as the difference, what maps are you running? You should instantly feel the throttle response. As far as power, it depends on what you're running upgrade and map wise.

I don't have the software in front of me but to clarify:
0 = Main Map
1 = Map 2
Or am I wrong?

That's right for the maps.

For the CEL its gone now after I reset the battery so I think everything is installed right. I drove today and I'm pretty sure it did pull harder and im 90% sure my mpg went up significantly lol (I averaged 32 on my way to work which is more than half local). I'm gonna give it a few days to review it; I want to avoid having any ownership bias. I am on the Injen+catback map on aggressive mode (1) now. Map 0 to me felt the same but I think map 1 is an upgrade.

Did you download a injen and catback map for it?
