Haven't seen many Lava FR-S' around. It's seems to be a rare color around here where it's all shades instead of hues.

Per the reps I spoke with at Scion, Hot Lava is the least purchased color, followed by Ultramarine. Which is both surprising and not - white/black/red/silver cars are always generally going to just naturally pull ahead, especially given the spectacular white they used for this car.

I enjoy having a less seen color, especially since I feel that both Ultramarine and Hot Lava are amazing colors.

I agree. My Firestorm FR-S was preorder and ship direct from Japan. They landed the port and I waited over 2 weeks to pick up from the dealership. The salesman told me they only order 1-2 red or blue FR-S per monthly basic just because not many buys the color.

I really enjoy it.

That's weird. The Scion in Omaha has 6 Hot Lava's just chilling in the lot. I too had to order my Whiteout and it won't be here for awhile. Although I hate waiting, it makes me feel good that I have to order a car and wait this long which means this car isn't necessarily rare, but it is not a car you see every day on the road. I love that.

I thought a test drive was not going to be a problem. I am gonna miss my Yaris (believe it or not), but its soooo nice to have a proper sports car. So damn nice! It's been a long loooooooong time coming.
The local dealer here has a "demo" version for people to test drive. It's for sale, but its decked out with so many display accessories and advertisement stickers and has over 3k miles on it, so I don't think anyone was in a hurry to buy it. I've wanted to buy one for a long time, but after driving it this was me:
