Forget the Nav, how is the Bespoke as a blue tooth radio?

I don't need navigation in the car and I hate the look of 90's looking stock radio. How is the bespoke unit as a HD/Bluetooth radio? Is it worth the used price as an upgraded non nav head unit?

HD and BT are both fine, HD is noticeably better than standard FM, and BT audio works. Its not cd quality and isn't meant to be since its BT streamed, but sounds the same as every other BT streamed radio.

It works perfectly fine for me, no issues with bluetooth at all when it comes to streaming pandora from my phone and hands free calling is crisp and clear and people on the other side of the line always hear me loud n clear.

I have iPHone 4S and a Nexus 4 which I have paired to the Bespoke to stream audio/take calls. Only the Nexus 4 can make calls. My iPhone is just an iPod right now.

iPhone 4S
+ Standard Pause/Play, Next/Previous song, fast foward/rewind capability through head unit
+ can browse playlists/podcasts/etc
+ Head unit displays song information, progress, does NOT display album art
+ volume is controlled only from head unit
+ sound quality is very high

Nexus 4
+ Standard Pause/Play, Next/Previous song, fast foward/rewind capability through head unit
+ must choose/browse for songs through the Nexus 4
+ Head unit does not display any song information/progress
+ volume can be controlled through the phone or the head unit
+ sound Quality is acceptable

I have managed to get both paired before, but I do not know the exact science to do it consistently. FOr example I can play music through my iPhone but the head unit knows to go to my Nexus 4 for phone calls.

Android 4.2, which ships in the Nexus 4, has a rewritten Bluetooth stack with some annoying new bugs. AVCRP is not working (missing song info) and users have reported issues with A2DP audio streaming as well. I'm not surprised that subjectively, the Nexus 4 compares poorly to the iPhone 4S in Bluetooth streaming audio.

Not to hijack the thread or anything but will all of this work with the iPhone 5? I know the bespoke app doesn't work with the 5 but will be Bluetooth streaming audio work? What about the newest generation iPad?

Bluetooth is going to be a substandard method of delivery until the HUs support APT-X.

The Bespoke is the first BT radio I've ever owned and I'm loving it. Sound quality sound great IMO when paired with my Galaxy Note 2. I stream pandora and stored music fine. Plus I love the fact that it will automaticaly connect and play music without me even having to pull the phone out of my pocket.

I have an Iphone 5 and the only thing that doesn't work is the NAV. Mine was already in the car when I bought it. No complaints. I actually really like the unit.

Droid RAZR, droid RAZR HD, and a ipad3 have all been paired with bespoke and worked great.. I love the bluetooth with the iPad 3... I got it mainly for movie watching and it sounds great watching movies with the sound through the speakers.. Cal quality is great.. I'm always yelling and people tell me to stop lol.. Also they just barely pick up the greddy evo 3 which resonates quite loud through the car.. And finally pandora works great, my power amp ap works good but doesn't not display the info on the screen but the stock music player does.. With my RAZR it would work if I played the stock player then switched to power amp. With ICS on the RAZR HD, it won't.. And another very annoying thing with the ICS update, I keep my phone on silent.. Always, and it turns the ringer on every single time it pairs.. I can't stand it..
