FuelIn still feels good.

Tried FuelOut and honestly, it didn't feel bad, but not as good as TimingIn or FuelIn.

Hmm...

Smooth might mean less horsepower. Rough usually means more air breathing and horsepower.

A combination of both is a good tune.

For me, FuelIn is like that, smooth and a little rought/wild.

We'll see what the new intake and test pipe do hopefully in the next two weeks or so.

I'm running the Injen CAI FuelIn/TimingIn it seems to have a little bit more of a punch in the mid range. I'm not sure about the top end yet. I'm looking forward to the AEM tune but the Injen has worked good. (I'm running an AEM intake)

I'll tell you I tried the Perrin tune just to see. It was slower but the top end was super aggressive, reminded me a little of my first car about 14 years ago. I swapped a B16A in my CRX Si, that thing was fun.

Jack - I wanted to confirm that the 5-way switch will work with our kits? Is the cable long enough to port through the sound tube tunnel in the firewall? I was thinking of keeping in my glovebox.

I'd also recommend extending the USB flash cable. I'd love to pipe both through so I can remap and select from within the cabin. I think it was mentioned there might be a bluetooth adapter available soon?

I opted not to go with the flux2 just because I use the OBD2 port for data logging and frankly just didn't have much use for it.

Jack, what power gains are you getting on the intake systems? Which one provides the most gains? Dyno charts? Will you ever post a list of what the unichip provides for each aftermarket part you work on?

How does the FuelIn/TimingIn maps differ from the normal maps? Do they use 91 octane still?

edit: read through a few pages. just small changes in the AFR i believe?

Both cables are long enough to do what you said.

Fuel In/Out - small changes in/out with AFR's - same thing with timing regarding different Fuel, etc.

It warmed up a little bit today. FuelIn wasn't as good as when it was cold. In fact, I switched back to TimingIn as that seems to be the only tune that doesn't give me REV dip. Still very happy.

Oh, and today I covered up the red loom tubing with black. Nice and stealth again with all my mods.

See:

My issue is the end of the USB flash cable that plugs into the Unichip has an on/off switch pretty close to the unit. I'm not sure if it's an issue to keep it in the "on" position. It would be great to have contained in the cabin/glove box. I also only have the 2-way switch, so I'd need to purchase a 5-map selector.

PS - The black looks a lot better!

Right. But they do not sell a 5-map selector anymore. Only the Flux2. I was in the same boat. Now I'm happy with it.

Stock car plus unichip....Not a perfect even road (real world),Winter tires, Roads a little wet (started to drizzly), automatic (Manual Mode).

0 to 60...7.47 I didn't run a lot of runs just playing around...just downloaded the torque map. Just thought I post this to compare what someone might have on a stock car without unichip.
