That's a separate program.

I'm still wondering about the keyless entry. If I was to get an aftermarket alarm system/possibe remote starter, would it replace the keyless remote or would it require both remotes.

Does anyone know what kind of alarm system if any is in the BRZ limited?
I'm telling you get a brz and don't settle if you want one. My local Subaru has a manual black limited brz for 27200. Just tell your local Subaru dealer to find it in your color. If you want the brz get it. Throw on the frs bumber and change the badges. It will eat you inside if you don't get the car you want especially if your with it for the next 4 years.

BRZ has Subaru's OEM alarm system, though it may not be turned on when you get it.

Not sure if it's got a shock sensor (doubt it) so it's really a "HEY DOOR IS OPENED WHILE LOCKED" alarm.

I don't understand what spending money on the engine and turbo has anything to do with almost being like a BRZ??

Most people do not buy a car with cash they finance.

this is correct, and even though it is necessary for most,it is really f**king "stupid"
for all the right reasons. you are paying good money for a "depreciating" asset using
a bank's money at an atrocious interest rate, which is NOT tax deductible for most of us.
what could be "dumber" than that? most of us fall for this "sucker's" game year, after year, after year! keeps a lot of good people working though, and that's not a bad thing!

Well your interest rate would be atrocious if you bought cars in the past with cash and had no real credit rating.

Then again, financing a car would establish a good credit rating. It's a necessary evil. The only "stupid" thing is people who buy beyond their means simply because a bank is gullible enough to give them a loan.

The point is, if he has the money to spend on a BRZ, he should buy a BRZ, because it's what he want. I doubt a turbo is going to sway him from what he wants. Not everyone is after horsepower.

Why would you pay 30k up front on a depreciating asset? I can get a 0.9% APR load from my credit union for 36-60 months. Thats about $418-691 of interest payed to KEEP my 30k in the bank. I could then put that 30k into a CD or other investming which PAYS ME back more than I lost in my auto loan over the same period of time.
