Ah. Yes. Well coming from an 08 Civic Si and all imports from my past I have to agree with you. It actually came even more apparent once my buddy put an exhaust on his recent Si (Nvidia N1 as well). It just sounds to high pitched for me even compared to the stock exhaust of the FRS. But at the same time the FRS has a completely different shaped motor which is why I believe it sounds so much different (STI case and point).

I have looked at the videos of the N1 and I am very pleased even though its so much different than in person. I'm very excited to see what you have to say about comparing the two.

I just got word that the exhaust is in, but right now is not a good time to do the change (blizzard and all). Gonna see if we can knock it out Sunday! I'll post a review on that!

Nvidia N1 Exhaust put on, looking great - I like the low tone, much lower than the AP Exhaust. It even comes with silencers so if I go for long trips, I have options! Drove down to VA from NY, 350 mile trip. Turbo is going strong, no issues - just a tiny rattle which will get corrected when I'm back in NJ @PrimeMotoring. All is well so far - I'll make take some pics today. It's cloudy - but that'll do.

I said I did a 350mile trip. No drone - cabin noise is less than what AP was doing. I like it - not too low, not too loud - good range.

Can you post up a sound clip? I realize it will sound differen in prson, but atleast it would give and idea, and would be from someone who actually owns it and not advertising propoganda that could have been altered.

I'll post a sound clip, but it will be done with an iPhone 5... I haven't purchased a camera or anything yet. Dropping my car off at the shop today to get the remaining pieces on my car and also engine mounts/transmission stiffeners - really do need that with a turbo.!!

I finished my NJ-VA trip with no issues no the Turbo build whatsoever! AWESOME!

I drove pretty much 80mph on average running at (if I remember correctly) 3500rpm... Gas consumption was normal - boost was running normal - only needed to fill up once, the trip of 380miles (Richmond, VA to White Plains, NY) took about 1.5 tanks of fuel, was running Octane 93.

The entire goal of this build was to not only be powerful (500rwhp), but to also be reliable and durable! I have driven the car on warm sunny to down right snowed out roads with the build and it's been a blast! I am in constant communication with @PrimeMotoring so if I need anything tweaked or changed, they can do it right away.! I'm dropping the car off at the shop to finish some things.

- Miro 111 wheels to be put back on.
- AP Control Arms, Perrin Swaybar
- Tein Lowering springs
- Flex Fuel configuration
- 9-14-20psi boost configuration
- Cusco engine mounts
- whatever parts will stiffen the transmission!!

I'll pick the car up on Monday evening, hopefully with everything above completed!

I may be misunderstanding this, but if you are just having the boost configurations put in, what boost was the turbo running on your trip?

I believe he had a stock base map. The configurations were going to be set if he was running E85, or if he wanted daily driving, or race mode. At least that was the first version. Not sure what he did now.
