Ouch... that sucks about the Borla Header. No surprise Jeremy is taking care of you guys though. Maybe Borla will learn a thing or two from P&L and Nameless because the performance difference is substantial but it does come with a higher price tag.

BORLA UPDATE:This header has been delayed for so long due to an engineering change which we felt was necessary to improve the performance and durability of this part. Unfortunately we were not made aware of this essential modification until after the part was officially announced for release. We are very sorry for the continual delays on this part, we were trying to make the design modifications as quickly as possible but always wanted to guarantee the final product lives up to our normal quality standard. The design changes have now officially been finalized and all tooling is being transferred from our R&D facility in CA to our manufacturing facility in TN for large scale production. The very first production run of this header will be completed within the next 3 weeks. To be safe and ensure there are no further missed dates, we are quoting the 15th of March as the final ship date for the first run of this header.

Design changes are due to the MFG process. All is well with those who already have headers.

Quote:
The design changes we made were mainly with regard to the manufacturing process for making the headers. We wanted to ensure that tolerances were tightened up as much as possible and found that the original process for making the header could lead to headers being produced which would not fit perfectly. If your customer has a header installed on his car already then I can guarantee it was made at our R&D facility and is good to go. The headers released from this point on will not be superior with regards to performance, the change only prevents headers from being made which would under perform.
Everything is good to go. Thank you for every ones patience. New car, new market, new parts all have tweaks to get worked out.

Yo and myself are available as always at anytime for questions.

-Jeremy

Weather is so bi-polar here in Iowa. It was 50 yesterday and Thursday were supposed to get a snow storm with 6-9 inches... Sports car problems lol.

Planning issues and weather.

We ourselves have moved into a new facility and lots of demolition and equipment installation is happening right now.

We do not have our own dyno. The shop with the dyno we use that we have special rates for also moved in early January and their dyno just got back up and running 2 weeks ago.

Sorry for the delay and the over-promise of having the dyno in early February. Some of these issues are out of our hands and other tasks have taken over our time commitments.

We still plan on doing these tests and sharing the results with everyone. It has just moved down the line on our priority list. All I can ask is you guys be patient with us. I am really looking forward to spring and having everything in line with our new facility. Just wait, we will have a lot more for you guys in the future.

Cheers!
-Yo
