I tried getting one from VA, you need an address in VA. It's more complicated than that...I seriously tried. Which is why I also don't have an EZ Pass.

It's just so you don't have to stop at all the toll plazas.....I think it's about $18 bucks(+/-) to get to AC from mid-Maryland.

The time save and avoiding those frustrating toll lines is well worth the expense. Plus when half of a group has or does not have ez passes it kills a cruise. Those with ez pass either have to pull off onto the shoulder just past the toll or sit in the toll line with the others. Neither is favorable.

I heard they have temporary passes now like a one time purchase, look it up. Not sure if they implemented it yet.

I'm looking into going to the AC meet. Just sorting out a few details in the meantime. I have an EZ pass and can meet up at the Pure Performance shop.
