Oh yeah. You need to be super careful around that intersection. The lights are timed weirdly and traffic is always horrible there. I live right around the corner and cross it very often. I actually *was* t-boned there, about 10 years ago (not driving at the time).

Phastek Performance Lights Mini Show and Tell

Front Turn Signal LED Switchbacks
Amber Sidemarker LED

Picked a full set of LED bulbs (Sidemarker, front and rear turn signals) from @Chris@Phastek. As always he's great to work with. I also had to pick up a relay so these wouldn't hyperflash. I didn't document the rear turn signals and the relay. I will say the relay is a pain and a half to install because of a tiny plastic clip that you can't easily remove.

I didn't do a DIY for this because it is essentially the same steps indicated in my JDM Clear Side Marker DIY. For the turn signals, you can pull back the wheel well lining and access the turn signal bulbs. You can find the link here

The OEM is on the left (passenger) side and the Switchbacks are on the right (driver) side. To me they are the roughly the same color temperature which is great. Note the OEM bulbs fade in and out while the LEDs are definitely more of a on/off blinking pattern. I'm hard pressed to say that the Switchbacks are significantly brighter than the OEM bulbs. I would say staring at them the LEDs are sharper.

I did notice the sidemarker LEDs are not the same amber as everything else on the car. Here is a shot of the Sylvania 194NA bulb I used in the side marker. I took these photos at the same settings and did not edit them.

Overall I'm pretty happy with the results. The LEDs all around the car are brighter than OEM, and I get pseudo fogs from the switchbacks. Although its a hodgepodge of color temps now in the front, It will even out once I put in HID projector system.
