So I read that, and I understand that we can't modify the factory bars, but does that mean that we are allowed to add a bar that goes between the strut towers as long as we aren't removing or modifying those other bars?

Can there be any tomfoolery with the radiator shroud? I understand this is a very unorthodox question, and I will explain later...

Thx

Well, that's just it--it doesn't reference cooling/rad/fans etc whatsoever in the rules.
So.... SOL I guess

What about an oil cooler? I'm building the car for HPDEs as well as Autox competition. Autox the oil cooler isn't required IMO, but for trackdays I've felt loss of power before on very hot days with timing being pulled by the ECU. 90 ambient and approx 110 track temp. Any thoughts? So far I have coilover's and Whiteline RLCAs once I can afford them with 17x8 RPF1s 245/40/17 BFG Rivals once they are available. (Currently on BFG Comp2s same size) So it is still STX legal. Is STR for 2 seater vehicles only or can our cars compete?

With a big national level STR contingent in my Region.. I am going to say the BRZ would not be competitive in STR.. during a 2 day event.. my BRZ was down 6 secs to the top STR drivers.. and we drove pretty well.. so to answer your question.. I don't think so.
