No witnesses. No suspects. Major bummer. Will probably take it in on monday to have it fixed. Car is barely three months old.

Dammnit! Holy Crap! I would effin' arrrghhh!! dude there's gotta be justice!
I effin' cried for you man!

reminds me of Pulp Fiction
LANCE: Still got your Malibu?
VINCENT: You know what some fucker did to it the other day?
LANCE: What?
VINCENT: Fuckin' keyed it.
LANCE: Oh man, that's fucked up.
VINCENT: Tell me about it. I had the goddamn thing in storage three years. It's out five fuckin' days -- five days, and some ****less piece of shit fucks with it.
LANCE: They should be fuckin' killed. No trial, no jury, straight to execution.

From the looks of it, it doesn't seem like the scratches got all the way to the metal. In some areas it looks like it can be buffed out lol. But I'll look into it, thanks for the suggestion

any idea how much it'll cost though? I just blew a few hundred on textbooks...

Oh man, I know how you feel. Back when I owned a Celica GT-S, while coming back from a movie I found my car covered in dried rotten cottage cheese with my driver door keyed from front wheel well to gas cap. The mixture of rage and sadness roiling through me while I washed off the car in the closest gas station I could find is a feeling I won't soon forget

However I'm sad to say it may just be part of the risk we assume in owning an "economy" import sporty car. For whatever reason these cars just seem to make people (aka a**holes) want to do stupid things to them

Glad to see your insurance isn't making things difficult for you though, and hopefully now that you've been hit by the curse once you'll be fine from now on!

Only accidents have fault. Yours is a comprehensive claim. Unless you have multiple comprehensive claims, they generally won't affect your rates since they are not losses that are caused by you. Hopefully your deductible is low.

Realistically speaking, who sticks around and takes responsibility for committing vandalism?

Sorry to hear about what happened though. College parking lots tend to be difficult like that.

I'd rather poke them with 86 bananas and make them eat the key...

OP, I feel for you man. Shitty feeling

I started bringing this car to my highschool and gotta say this is my number one concern. I park all the way back with no other cars around ( kinda heat and asking for someone to come look) but its right under the camera.

Good luck with your car

I cringe. I feel your pain and so does my car. I can't believe people still do this. Clearly they're jealous

Man! This is sad...... One should invest in some camera technology to detect these type of people.

My heart goes out to you and your FR-S! This hurts to see and I hope the culprit has the balls to face up to you. It's one to hate on people but to deface it is just unforgiveable.

Yeah. I have to pay my comprehensive deductible.

Getting this thing fixed is expensive everywhere I look though, mostly because the panel they scratched goes up above the window, and below the door. It makes such a huge part of the body that they have to repaint/blend with the existing clear.
