$1099??? I will not be purchasing anything for this car that costs more than a comparable part for my M3.

They're both (FR-S and BRZ versions) available for purchase now from oemaudioplus.com.

I think it's only for the FR-S, since the BRZ has a different head unit. I mean, unless the plugs are the same behind them? I haven't looked, but their site seems geared towards Scions.

hah, this system is nothing like that, it's about improving the sound in a balanced, unobtrusive manner (hence only using a single 8" subwoofer), which when coupled with the DSP amp with retuned crossovers allows the door speakers to fill in the mids more accurately and the new tweeters to reproduce higher frequencies without clipping. at least from the reviews in the audio forum.

the enclosure in the video was for show. Here's how the standard one looks.
