You guys have it all wrong. The writer of the mag was thinking hamster power when he wrote this. 1 horsepower = 185 horsepower. 200hp=37000 hamster power.

In the future, hamster power should be denoted in "hams" to avoid confusion.

*** THIS JUST IN FROM NMSNBC!! ***

Toyota and Subaru issue a 100% recall on all 2013 Toyota GT86, Scion FRS and Subaru BRZ models due to the errant behavior of these cars propelling themselves to escape velocity with a sudden application of the accelerator pedal.

A spokesman for Toyota that did not release his name for he was not authorized to speak to the media said, "We are looking very closely at this issue and while there are some that are quick to call this a severe safety concern, we are recalling these cars because we feel it is the right thing to do and investigate these claims seriously."

So far only one owner that survived the extreme g-forces due to the rapid acceleration which resulted in the disintegration of his FR-S could be reached for comment. Because he is currently recovering in the hospital for his injuries he was only able to speak through his attorney. "My client is recovering in the company of his family and friends after this traumatic event but only wished to convey to Toyota what an awesome ride that was and wants to know when he will get what is left of his car back."

Already the automotive industry is up in arms over the recall and they have been releasing public statements concerning the GT86.

"Why would anyone want to make a car with 37,000hp is beyond me. We make lots of cars that safely accelerate to 60mph in 10 seconds and that is fast enough for us!"
- Mazda Press Release

"Toyota has been making dangerous cars for years for people who remember the accelerator issue a few years ago. Apparently, that wasn't enough so they made a car that will accelerate you to 200mph in 3 seconds whether you want to go that fast or not. Our cars may have reliability issues but our cars won't kill you in a manner that your remains cannot be recovered by conventional means."
- Hyundai Press Release

"This year we will be releasing our new Camaro with 40,000hp to prove to our competition that we will not be out done."
- Chevrolet Press Release.

Surprisingly, despite worldwide condemnation for the apparent lack of responsibility by Toyota in producing such a dangerous automobile, pre-orders in America have spiked 200% in just a few hours.

37,000 = [X * 160]/5252. X = 1,214,525 RPM

That's some major piston acceleration; take that S2000! :happy0180:
