I never knew there were buildings that tall in Alaska. Just Googled Anchorage since I never really knew what it looked like. What a beautiful background to the city!

It surprises me, too. 1964 earthquake took out a lot of downtown Anchorage into the water, yet Conoco Philips and BP came in and built 20+ story tall buildings, while City Hall is only 8 floors. Crazies.
