[ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnuson%E2%80%93Moss_Warranty_Act"]Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame]

learn this so you keep yourself from dealing with dealerships trying to get one over (especially you Subaru guys)

Ok several folks have PMed to ask how to go about getting the special. It's super simple, as there are really only a couple of things you need to figure out before hand ;

Do you really need to buy a cable, or will you be happy using a shared cable

How do you want the files configured in your modes, and which features do you want to have added.

Then all you need do is call me here at the shop. If your not getting a cable, then I suggest you try to drop the car off to me for at least one afternoon so I can load the file and check the initial data. Then I am going to let you go home, and come back later for a second datalog.

If your buying a cable, or have access to one from one of the other club members, all you need do is drop me a line and we can do this a bit easier.

Also what do you and @aaronosaurus think of this? http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28320

I have money set aside for headers, but I may dip into into it for this.
Oil coolers are going to be a bigger deal for us in the summer! That being said, plenty of failures cases for that system will stop/slow the flow of oil to the motor. I'd be more worried about some obstruction or increase in resistance through that system decreasing the efficiency of the oil pump. I think that failure would be worse, because it's hard to detect, than one of the lines breaking and dumping all of your oil.

My advise would be to buy quality, get an oil pressure gauge, and keep an eye on the whole system. If something looks degraded/broken, its better to fix it before the whole thing fails. With the Perrin system you can twist off the adapter and replace the filter&oil to limp home should something go wrong, which is a nice safety net. I need to re-read the C stock rules, but I'll probably be getting one of those later this spring.

I have a new seats I'm not going to need. I've got a carbon fiber ($500) and fiberglass version for passenger side ($250) + Shipping. Both are brand new, never installed. I could do 600 for both if anyone's interested.
