Jones Junction over in Bel Air. I went with the standard free 12 months deal, powertrain for life and free synthetic oil changes for life. I did shell out $407 for free dent, chip and scratch repair for life too.

Pretty sure, unless it was 2 years every 7500 miles lol something like, still dk if I want to use it cause even with synthetic im used to changing the oil sooner. My jetta took synthetic and id still change it around 3k miles.

I'm going to keep it in mind to check if any dealers will match it over here in N.E.

Here in Australia we get 3 years free servicing.. Then again we pay a lot more for the BRZ compares to the U.S. $37,000 MSRP

3k miles?

Think in North America we already have the shortest oil change intervals in the world, some get carried away..

Some cars in EU its 20k+ between oil changes.

Wow I definitely wouldnt want to wait that long. I know synthetic is good to 10-15k miles but I love doing things to my cars even if it is just an oil change. plus cant deny that oil changes at 3k make for a very helthy car lol, I used to run a size bigger than stock k&n oil filter on the jetta as well.

Since the poster is from Europe, he may have been talking about 20k km. Not that that still isn't a super long time. I have a different car, but I still have synethetic oil changes done every 3,500-4,000 miles.

That's for sure. If one compared two BRZ car owners who would have the same driving history in mileage, type of driving, same weather conditions etc, same oil brand and weight, and one changed at 3000 miles and the other at 7500 mile interval one has to ask: What differemce would it make at 100,000 miles? Well, yes, one difference is that the oil company sells 2.5 times more oil. I leave you with the following quotes:

  1. “The aim of marketing is to know and understand the customer so well the product or service fits him and sells itself.” ~ Peter F. Drucker
  2. “The sole purpose of marketing is to sell more to more people, more often and at higher prices. There is no other reason to do it.” ~ Sergio Zyman
  3. “The aim of marketing is to make selling superfluous.” ~ Peter Drucker

Is It 'Mind don't have it' or 'mine doesn't have it' or something else?

What are "maintains"?
