Burning oil smell at idle after car warms up

My manual trans. fr-s has 2400 miles on it right now. After the car warms up I can smell burning oil through the air vents at idle. a/c is not on and no hard driving involved. you can smell it outside the car and it definitly seems to be coming from passenger side down low. no dripping on garage floor and nothing visual either. first noticed it after driving 1.5 hours at 70 mph in mid august. got to my destination and could smell burning oil. i did first oil change at 1100 miles with toyota oil and filter. oil level is good.

Car is not my daily driver and only comes out on sunny days.

This is definitly not break in stink. that was long gone after 500 miles or so. have not had any other issues that ive read about. i took delivery in july of 2012 and have only put shell 93 octane in the tank.

My local dealer i dont feel is going to be any good. I called them about this and got a "I guess we could take a look" response. car is in hibernstion for winter but want to get a viable answer so i can point the dealer in a some direction.

I have the same hot-oil smell, same car with 2800 miles. I smell it in the car and haven't been able to locate it any further. Haven't noticed it outside.

Do you have a manual or auto?
