You can't do that. You have to now what size bodies he is dealing with. He could deal with asians or westerners. If he works in africa he could deal with pygmies...

This topic is now about stuffing dead people in trunks.

Those are just small hydraulic shocks, they hold the trunk up without requiring traditional tension rods, and provide less of a "shock" when the trunk opens.

Though in most American circles, when a car is available as a hatchback or a trunk car, the trunk version is referred to as a "Notchback".

that would suck. What about a 12/5/11 release. I know that won't happen, and more than likely it will be February or March.

More like production starts in may 2012 and cars are delivered by late June 2012.

That is a quick turn around time. It usually takes 3-4 weeks for a Subaru to leave Japan and get to your dealer for you to drive off in. Subaru will probably want to get a few weeks worth of production to put on same shipping ship.

Your right...give it at least 2 to 3 months after production starts.

1 to 2 cars per dealer at the start....its gonna be hard to get this car.

They rumor is they are only going to make 3000 of them per year...but i think there will be more...

Subaru's current 2.0 diesel boxer is 86.0 mm x 86.0 mm. Other than a few flat twins in small European cars like the Citroën 2CV, Rosengarts and Goggomobils, that is the only square boxer engine I'm aware of. Edit: I meant to say post WWII. There were a few square flat twins before WWII, mostly from the USA.

You forgot to add.... for free, for their patience since the vehicle was thought of and leaked and started gathering a following when Columbus "discovered" the new world.

Not super happy with the weight dist at 53/47. Nor the output of the motor at 200PS, nor the 151 lb-ft with a 12.5:1 CR.

With the weight distribution, it's sounding like they may be covering themselves with regards to less experienced drivers. To put things in perspective, that is the same distribution as a Supra, which had an iron-block L6 hanging out in front. With a rear-mounted H4, I was still hoping for 50/50 (despite the talk from the beginning of it NOT being 50/50). The distribution will ultimately affect max cornering with understeer being the limit, and the limit being less than if it were 50/50. Especially if people insist on staggering their wheels.

The motor numbers don't give me tingly, happy thoughts either. I'm guessing it has to do with emissions, and this thing better have outstanding mileage for the not-quite-200-bhp output.

On the other hand with all the talk of customizing it, I'm hoping it is as purposely choked down as the JZ's were from the factory, particularly the 1JZ. If it has retardedly choked exhaust manifolds, then TRD can advertise 20hp gains from their expen$ive headers. Hoping, anyways...
