Toyota has offered to put me into another car and they wont subtract the miles (20, 000) I have on the car now....I really want MY car but...opinions?

What do you mean they won't subtract the mileage?

When you lemon law they pay you for the car but subtract an amount based on milage. If I was him I'd see how much cash I could get out of them and keep it because everything is fixed now.

I'd take a new car, considering that the car's repair history is readily available. Resale value is important. It would be new car with a clean record.

I guess deminished value and hardship but if you don't plan on having the car forever if get the new one so you can trade it in at some point

Given the number of repairs that have been done under warranty and the fact that dealers are expected to report those repairs to car history agencies (Carfax and Autocheck), I think it would be reasonable to expect compensation for diminished resale value. Hopefully that would work out for both parties. Toyota doesn't have to give away a new car, and you get to keep your car and all the work you've put into it without taking the financial hit down the road.

As for the amount, I have no idea how to justify that with so little secondary market data.

Well I was about to leave the house when I decided to look at the forecast and there's chance for rain later tonight or as early as 8. FML lol What to do...wash my car and be mocked by those who say its going to rain? Or leave the car as is and hopes it rains to cover up the dirt? lol Either way I want to go out tonight. I'm bored.
