It should be interesting. Since the Celts are playing well enough without Rondo, while the Lakers are on a roll themselves at the moment too.

And I saw those highlights of kobe last night and thought its impressive that guy still has some hops in him at his age.

I'm just hoping that the Lakers can somehow squeeze into the playoffs. I just heard that Gasol is out for 6-8 weeks now. If it's not one Laker going out with an injury, it's another.

I was cracking up at the Pierce and KG trade rumors the other day.

I know right! 34 yrs old and he can still throw down the hammer. Then again, it's Kris Kardashian who's trying to block him!

I was glad the Lakers weren't performing to their fullest capability, so I'm thinking oh great now the NBA, ESPN, or other basketball related shows can finally start talking about other teams in the league. But what the fffffuuuuuuuuuuuu...., lol, they still wind talking about how poorly they're playing.
Heh, just about everyone (L.A.) thought the Lakers were a shoe in as championship contenders, but are having a mediocre season so far. But that's just how things go sometimes.

And like I tell anyone, it wouldn't bother me as much if the Celts let go of the whole team and traded them to the Clippers (hell even Lakers), but they can never let go of Pierce. He deserves to retire as a Celtic.

As for tonight LET THE RIVALRY CONTINUE!

I thought it was just a local network thing when ESPN Sports Center talks about the Lakers since I live in Southern California. I thought each city would haven't their own NBA exclusive talk; like you would have all of the Celtics news and folks in Miami would have all of the latest Heat news. I guess Laker talk is nationwide and news 24/7!

Even this morning on ESPN, they were breaking down the top rivalries and last I saw, it was Redsocks n Yankees with Lakers n Celtics in 4th. However the highlights breaking down to that segment was all about the Celtics n Lakers.

Hopefully Kobe will have another big dunk tonight with KG being the one getting posterized!

Sure we got our own local sports stations too, but I was poking fun at national networks for not expanding far from Lakers and Heat topics. NYK and BKN got some love for sec, but well that just dropped off significantly, lol.

Anyway since you're calling a dunk I'll do the same. I'll guess Jeff Green gets a nice dunk over Antawn Jamison.
If I'm right I get some of those wings from Wing Stop (offiicial wings of the Lakers).

And I'll say Celtic vs Laker Rivalry trumps all.

It is kind of funny how at least one headline on ESPN would be about the Lakers. I'm sure once Kobe wins another championship or when he retires, the spotlight would turn off on the Lakers.

Here is the vid and to correct you, it's Lakers vs Celtics rivalry!

Ouch... Lakers need to trade Howard and keep Gasol... Getting destroyed without Gasol; Howard or not..

- I'm betting for retirement over here.

- Haha, you couldn't let me slip by with that huh?

- Basically what the whole nation can take away from that debate is BOSTON loves a rivalry no matter what sport it may be, lol. And others love to hate us.

I didn't know any of these guys were really good at dunking. The slam dunk contest has sucked ever since the best dunkers stopped doing it, IMO.

Well that ass whopping was an embarrassment! Lakers have absolutely no defense and no offense.

Congrats to KG for hitting 25K points. :happy0180:
