I go clutch in and while shifting I don't "blip" the throtle, I bring the revs up to where I expect they will want to be when I release the clutch and then release the clutch.

2 Shift to 3rd

4 and release clutch.

or

1 Clutch in
2 go to Neutral,
3 Blip
4 Shift to 3rd as rev drops
5 clutch out.

It seems the 2nd method is harder to do since there is an extra step and as you blip in Neutral the rev will drop when you shift to 2nd and release clutch.

I just do first method but i blip before going into gear..

Isnt' the correct way to do the 2nd method:
1 Clutch in
2 go to neutral
3 clutch out
4 blip
5 clutch in
6 shift to 3rd
7 clutch out
?? too much work.

i've been trying out heel toe as well when theres a free left turn in the middle of the nite. Its do-able, depends on the shoe im wearing. Its actually not that hard imo. I'm new at this so dun take as ref.

as for the OP, down shift, I've been doin all the above that you guys been discussing. They all work lol... Though I have a mind set that neutral then blip, doesn't hurt the engine as much @.@
