Paint correction + OptiCoat 2.0 -- Read into it. It's a little pricey (~$400) but keeps the paint protected and looking showroom shiny for years.

Ill be creating a thread in a few days of the opticoat I just had done. I thought my paint was ruined. Have had my car since june with about 4 car washes a week. swirls scratches and gouges. They spent 11 hours working on my car. I have about 80 pics including hi res close ups under light with 50/50 panel shots so you can see before and after.

Touch up paint wise I see paint in our colors in aerosol cans on ebay. But you would be blown away with what a good detailer can do.

Lol. I have never used a buffer but was tempted to do mine. After seeing that it took my local detailer 11 hours with two people and the amazing job they dis im glad I didnt take that challenge on.

Meguiars M205 is a pretty user friendly product that will remove light scratches by hand with a foam or microfiber applicator pad

If you need something heavier, try meguiars ultimate compound (again by hand). Since its an over the counter compound it finishes down pretty well.

obviously a dual action polisher will provide better results but there is no shame in buffing by hand
