Random Thought.

I'm really hoping that Toyota's new sports car that will be a notch below the FRS will be a new Celica. I'd prefer RWD, but FWD wouldn't be a deal-breaker. I don't subscribe to brand-loyalty, but i sure subscribe to model-loyalty.

I'd definitely be cool with that. Or something with a bit more space, front wheel drive, but still sporty......which sounds like a Tc...but I don't much care for that. I really liked the convenience of the 2000's celicas, not to mention the interior felt like a sports car vs the tc where it feels more like a slim sedan.

anyway, today's ajc headlines read "Atlanta traffic bad but predictable".....wherein they tout their research and money spent on keeping traffic terrible as a good thing. lol (granted, i realize infrastructure and highway planning aren't exactly simple...but seriously.)

What I thought is the norovirus or Stomach flu is starting to feel like its something else with this condition.

For Bio Students or those who understand medical terms.
I'm getting these nasty throbbing head pain at where my sphenoid bone, temporal and frontal bone meet also where the lower part (inferior) of my occipital bone on both sides of my neck.

For those who aren't. :P
My head hurts where on both sides of my head thats a little above where the tip of the ear is and towards the eyes. And the lower backside of my head where the head and neck meets gets a throbbing feeling when I stand.

Aside from all of that I'm getting incredible amounts of abdominal pain and I'm on the pooper every 20 minutes.

I'm never eating at Zankou Chicken ever again. God.

Oh man, i was thinking that i'd like it to be a tad smaller than the last Celica. The last gen Celicas weighed around 2,500lbs. It would be awesome if they could cut it down another hundred pounds and keep the HP around the 200 mark, or Torque around the 150-160 mark. I'd also like for the electronics to be at a minimum-- i'll start pulling fuses to Stability Control and Traction Control systems if i have to.

You're out of luck. Electronic Stability Control is federally mandated on all vehicles released in 2012 and later.

They can be overridden, right? If not i'll pull the fuse or something.

Not nearly that simple. Some cars have defeatable traction control systems, like our cars; while others like the GTI have levels of interference aren't fully defeatable without re-programming. Even still, other cars are unalterable in-cabin and ONLY defeatable through re-programming.

True. I wouldn't so much mind something smaller either.....guess this whole 2000's celica thing is in my head as I'm looking at cars for my gf and it's on her list. And I still think they look good....there's also that.

Also just thinking about the price points and safety as well, made me imagine that the last gen might be as small as we're fortunate enough to get given the current size of the twins.

Definitely for smaller cars packed with fun to drive though.

Saw a 2 door impreza yesterday.....I still want one of those.

Hmm Home Improvement is dumb

Converting a OTR Microwave to a Hood (for better ventilation) and the hood doesn't line up with the current exhaust duct that was there for the microwave. Its off by like 1 inch lol

I read your post that you had Norovirus yesterday. Whatever it is, I hope you are feeling better soon.

My 5 yr old son has had flu luke symptoms the past 2 days. Last night my wife called me at 6 PM at the office crying that my son woke up complaining about loud noises, started wretching then spit up about a tablespoon of blood. I ran home and we immediately took him to the emerg. After 5 hours and a chest x ray (clear) and urine specimen they sent us home and today he is back at the pediatric ward trying to determine where/why there was blood. Scary stuff for a parent.

Holy crap. I hope your boy is ok!

Things are scary nowadays... Its also scary knowing how unsanitary many of the places we go to on a daily basis are too!

True^ . Just because there have been no major epidemics in recent decades ( sars, West Nile and HIV notwithstanding among others) doesn't mean there never can be. Just saying.
