You could, but you would need to drive it enough to get the sensors into a ready state again. And unless you've fixed whatever threw the code, it'll come right back again.

It DEFINITELY doesn't take a month, but it does take 20-40km's of varied driving to get the sensors into the right state. They don't care when the codes were cleared, just that the sensors are reporting a ready state.
