Driving down to durbs on 1 tank is easy even with some heavy driving here and there. My ex e46 m3 managed to get 660km when driving down...excellent figures considering I wouldnt see over 430km on a full tank up here.

There goes the anti-corrosion warranty!

Well sure I'll find an excuse to go to Durban in the next 3 months...

I made Colesburg easy on 1 tank, Durbs will not be a prob. Margate will be a stretch but doable I think

I have an alpine deck I got for my birthday 2yrs ago. It has bluetooth as well. Very upset it won't fit in the current monstrous space.
Getting a new W920R with subwoofer & amp for starters - will upgrade speakers & add more amps if required / budget allows later :happy0180:

Speaking of which, I've noticed gear changes to be rather notchy, especially after a cold start. Does it get more slick as you rack up the km?

I'm nearly on 7900km and they have improved quite a bit. The 1-2 change takes some practice though, and feels a bit dodgy when cold sometimes.

I have done 12 000 odd KM, and yes the gear change on a cold start up is abit notchy.... solution: Warm up the engine with your right foot
